John Gilbert WTP Backwash Reuse System
In 2008 TWS Constructed the Pumping & Control system, including automatic filtration system, pipeline and civil works to remove selected parks & garden areas from Dubbo City town potable water, and feed with the backwash water from the newly completed Macquarie Street John Gilbert WTP. The system saves in excess of 1.5Mg/L per week of potable water.
